Image Comics Announces New Series from Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino

     Image Comics announced that Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino will be teaming up for a new series titled Trillium. The series is set in two different time periods, and it follows a young woman who is trying to find her way home. Lemire and Sorrentino are known for their work on the critically acclaimed series Sweet Tooth.

"I'm so excited to be working with Andrea again," said Lemire. "We had such a great time working on Sweet Tooth, and I can't wait to see what we can do with Trillium."

"Trillium is a very different kind of story from Sweet Tooth," said Sorrentino. "It's a story about time travel, love, and loss. I'm really excited to bring it to life."

    Trillium is set in two different time periods: the present day and the future. In the present day, a young woman named Anya travels to a remote forest in search of her missing father. In the future, a man named Tomas is on a quest to find a way to save the world from a deadly plague.

     Anya and Tomas's stories eventually intersect, and they must work together to find a way to save the world. Along the way, they will learn about themselves, each other, and the power of love.

    Trillium is a visually stunning series with a complex and thought-provoking story. Lemire and Sorrentino are two of the best creators in the comic book industry, and I am confident that they will deliver a masterpiece with Trillium.

    The series is scheduled to debut in October 2023. I am excited to see what Lemire and Sorrentino have in store for us with Trillium. I believe that it has the potential to be one of the best comics of the year.

  Remembering Nami Sano, the Manga Creator Behind Sakamoto and Migi to Dali         The manga world has lost one of its brightest stars. Nami Sano, the manga creator behind the popular comedy series "Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto" and the upcoming fantasy series "Migi to Dali", passed away on August 5th, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. She was only 36 years old.       Sano's death was announced by Kadokawa on August 16th, 2023, along with a heartfelt message from her family and editors.
