Boom! Studios Announces New Series from Mark Millar and Rafael Albuquerque

     Boom! Studios announced that Mark Millar and Rafael Albuquerque will be teaming up for a new series titled Nemesis. The series is set in a world where superheroes are real, and it follows a group of villains who are trying to take down the superhero establishment. Millar and Albuquerque are known for their work on the popular series The Ultimates.

"I'm so excited to be working with Rafael again," said Millar. "We had such a great time working on The Ultimates, and I can't wait to see what we can do with Nemesis."

"Nemesis is a very different kind of story from The Ultimates," said Albuquerque. "It's a story about revenge, power, and the dark side of heroism. I'm really excited to bring it to life."

    Nemesis is set in a world where superheroes are real, but they are not always the good guys. A group of villains have decided that it is time to take down the superhero establishment, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.

    The villains in Nemesis are a diverse group of characters, each with their own motivations for wanting to take down the superheroes. They are led by a mysterious figure known only as Nemesis, who has a personal vendetta against the superheroes.

    Nemesis is a visually stunning series with a complex and thought-provoking story. Millar and Albuquerque are two of the best creators in the comic book industry, and I am confident that they will deliver a masterpiece with Nemesis.

    The series is scheduled to debut in October 2023. I am excited to see what Millar and Albuquerque have in store for us with Nemesis. I believe that it has the potential to be one of the best comics of the year.

Nami Sano, the manga creator behind the popular comedy series "Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto" and the upcoming fantasy series "Migi to Dali", passed away on August 5th, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. She was only 36 years old.       Sano's death was announced by Kadokawa on August 16th, 2023, along with a heartfelt message from her family and editors.
